By Sea: basically shipment of cargoes occurs in three forms:

Dry Cargo Container: adjustable for most types of cargo - used to carry solid dry goods like: grain, coal, general equipment, steel products, ore and any other products in untied or bagged status.

Reefer Cargo Container: refrigerated shipping containers used to transport cargo, requiring temperature-controlled conditions like: fruits, meats, fishes, vegetables or other perishable commodities.

In Bulk: commonly used to transport large amounts of a single product and not require extra-load care. Cargo can be divided into smaller batches by basements compartment or by the affreightment of an entire vessel.
By Air: basically shipment of cargoes occur in one form:

ULD - Unit Load Device, can be divided into two types: pallets and containers. Also in the same container, cargo can be reefer-type, loading those products that require temperature control.
